Azamat, a participant in the national holiday of Ysyakh Olonkho in Yakutia, who suffered from an outbreak of salmonellosis, told Izvestia on July 9 that he had symptoms of poisoning after the event from the dishes he ate there.

"I got hungry in the evening and went to the tent to eat. I came home, went to bed, and at about 4-5 a.m. I felt stomach pains, vomiting, loose stools, and malaise," the victim said.

According to the man, at the event he ordered potatoes with vegetables, fish, as well as chicken cutlets and borscht. At the same time, doctors currently cannot accurately identify the causes of poisoning.

The victim clarified that he still feels symptoms of poisoning and general malaise.

On July 9, an outbreak of salmonellosis was recorded among the participants of the national holiday of Ysyakh Olonkho in Yakutia. At the same time, more than 50 people sought medical help in Yakutsk, Tattinsky, Neryungrinsky, Megino-Kangalassky, Namsky districts. The victims associate their illness with the consumption of ready-made poultry dishes.
