The surface of the football field was updated at the Arsenal sports school in Tula

In Tula, in the Kosaya Gora microdistrict, the Arsenal sports school has updated the football field surface. Now the thickness of the coating pile is more than 6 cm. New gates and nets were installed on the field, and the fence was replaced. The work was carried out within the framework of the "My District" program.

The renovated facility was visited by the head of the city administration Ilya Bespalov. He expressed confidence that the work carried out on the field would have a positive impact on the level of play of young athletes. Bespalov noted that the city authorities pay great attention to the development of sports and, in particular, football. Many municipal facilities are opening in Tula, and the authorities are also giving private football schools the opportunity to operate. The administration understands that the development of sports is the development of youth.

The new football field will make training more comfortable for more than 400 pupils of the sports school. The city authorities plan to further develop this training base. The head of the administration instructed to work out the issue of repairing locker rooms for athletes, reconstructing the stands, TSN24 writes.

In early July, it was reported that in Tula it is planned to reconstruct the Oryol overpass along Lenin Avenue through Ryazanskaya Street. The contractor was determined during the auction. The first stage includes the repair of the overpass adjacent to the Kaluga Highway. At the second stage, which will be implemented in 2026, the work will be transferred to the side of Ryazanskaya Street. The reconstruction of the Oryol overpass is scheduled to be completed in October 2026.
