The Ministry of Defense announced a group strike by the Russian Armed Forces on airfields in Ukraine.

The Russian Defense Ministry announced a group strike on military infrastructure facilities in Ukraine on the night of July 9. According to the ministry, high-precision long-range air-based weapons were used, including Kinzhal hypersonic aeroballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.

"Last night, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a group strike with high—precision long-range air-launched weapons, including Kinzhal hypersonic aeroballistic missiles and long-range unmanned aerial vehicles against the infrastructure of military airfields," the statement said.

The ministry stressed that the target of the strike had been achieved, and all designated targets had been hit.
