An eyewitness of the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike on the beach in Kursk told about the incident

An eyewitness to the strike of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the beach "Urban" in Kursk told about the incident. Footage from the scene on July 9 is published by Izvestia.

At the moment, the territory of the city beach is still cordoned off. Operational services are working there and investigative measures are being carried out aimed at confirming the commission of a terrorist act by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The explosion was a little late, as I heard <...>. [One of the victims] is currently in intensive care," said Leonid Gnezdilov, an eyewitness.

According to him, the child was seriously injured. In addition, the explosion also damaged the room where rescuers and guards are usually located. But there was no one there then. The rescuer "extinguished the child".

The Ukrainian Armed Forces hit the Gorodskiy beach in Kursk a day earlier. As a result of the attack, three people were killed on the spot, and three wounded are in serious condition, said Alexander Khinshtein, acting governor of the Kursk region. The Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case on the attack.
