The UK opened a case of a terrorist attack after the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks on a beach in Kursk and a hospital in Rylsk.

The Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia has opened criminal cases under the article on the terrorist act after the attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the city beach in Kursk and the Rylsky central district hospital. This was reported on July 9 in the press service of the department.

"Criminal cases have been initiated into attacks by Ukrainian militants on a city beach and other civilian facilities in the Kursk region," the Investigative Committee wrote on its Telegram channel.

The official representative of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Svetlana Petrenko, reported that on July 8, 2025, "in the evening, Ukrainian servicemen, using an unmanned aerial vehicle of an airplane type," struck a city beach in Kursk. As a result of the attack, three people were killed and seven others were injured, including a five-year-old child.

"During the inspection of the scene, fragments from an unmanned aerial vehicle were found, as well as damaging elements for causing maximum damage to the civilian population," the publication says.
