It is indicated that the recording was made during a private meeting between Trump and financial donors during the election campaign.
"I told Putin, 'If you go to Ukraine, I'll bomb the hell out of Moscow. I'm telling you, I won't have a choice." And he was like, "I don't believe you," the American leader says on the recording.
Trump suggested that the Russian president believed his words "by 10%," points out "Газета.Ru ".
In addition, the US president claims that he threatened Chinese leader Xi Jinping with a strike against Beijing in the event of a Chinese military operation in Taiwan. According to Trump, the Chinese president thought he was crazy.
On July 8, the deputy head of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, urged not to relate in any way to the statements of the American leader on the Ukrainian issue. He noted the inconsistency of Trump's rhetoric and pointed out the need to continue to achieve the goals of the special military operation.
