Medical workers who provide assistance to military personnel in the area of a special military operation (SVO) told about the specifics of their work. The relevant footage is published by Izvestia on July 9.

"Sometimes some people arrive several times. You remember everyone. You can recognize almost everyone by sight, by name, because we are courting them all," said Natalia Khodareva, a senior nurse.

She also noted that the condition of the soldiers who arrived from the front line and their injuries allow them to "see the price of life."

"They are golden people for me, our fellow countrymen," Natalia, the doctor of the hospital platoon, said in an interview with Izvestia correspondent Stanislav Grigoriev.

The medic noted that she can often remember not only the call sign or the last name of the serviceman who was under her treatment, but also the wound he received.

Natalia's husband is a conscript. Following him, she also signed a contract. Currently, the woman has been fulfilling her duties for nine months.

"People here are literally fighting for their lives. There are few challenges in civilian life where you feel the full burden of life," she concluded.

Earlier, on May 25, a paramedic with the call sign Aibolit shared with Izvestia that he had saved more than 300 Russian servicemen in his area. He shared that he himself came under fire when he was rescuing wounded soldiers, and is in the process of recovering.
