On the night of July 9, in the Zaraysk municipal district of the Moscow region, two people were killed and eight injured in an accident, including children. This was announced on July 9 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region in its Telegram channel.
"A traffic accident occurred on the 18th km of the Lukhovitsy -M–5 Ural-Zaraysk highway," the report said.
According to preliminary information, the 26-year-old BMW driver drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Hyundai minibus.
As a result of the accident, the driver and a 10-year-old child were killed. Eight people, six of whom are minor passengers, were hospitalized.
Earlier in the day, in Stupino, Moscow region, 15 people were injured when a minibus ran into a ditch. It is specified that the driver lost control.
