The economist spoke about receiving the funded part of the pension

Men over the age of 60 and women over the age of 55 have the opportunity to withdraw the funded part of the pension if the amount of their savings exceeds 412 thousand rubles. This was announced on July 9 by Andrey Girinsky, Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics of the Rudn University.

"Women who have reached the age of 55 and men who have reached the age of 60 can receive a funded pension. There are limits on the amounts. If the amount of savings is less than 412 thousand rubles, a one—time receipt option is available," Girinsky said in an interview with the Prime agency.

It is noted that the amount of the funded part of the pension can be found on the website of the State Services, or through the Social Fund of Russia (SFR), the multifunctional center (MFC) or the non-governmental pension fund (NPF). You can also contact the SFR and NPFs if you want to receive a funded part of the pension. At the same time, according to Girinsky, there is another alternative — it is possible to make a monthly payment.

Earlier, on July 6, the average pension size of non-working pensioners was announced in the Social Fund. As of April 1, 2025, it amounted to 24,019 rubles, which is more than at the beginning of the year.
