In hot weather, human skin perceives certain components of care products differently. About what to watch out for when taking care of your skin in the summer, July 8, "Gazeta.Ru" was told by Galina Amosova, dermatologist and cosmetologist of the Icon Skin brand.

The doctor did not recommend using products with alcohol content, as it dehydrates the skin, which can lead to its tightness and peeling, sunburn and pigmentation.

"Another component that should be used with caution in the summer is retinol. In the heat, its high concentration can lead to severe irritation. Unstable forms of vitamin C have a similar effect," the dermatologist said.

Products with mineral oils and silicones, clay masks and scrubs can lead to irritation and overheating of the body.

Amosova also advised to pay attention to the cleanser.

"For cleansing in the summer, the specialist recommended soft foams and products with enzymes," the expert explained.

If the skin is already inflamed, the doctor recommended using panthenol in the early days. After two days, you can start using skin moisturizers.

Earlier in the day, Louise Sakania, a dermatologist and cosmetologist at the Geltek Aesthetic Medicine Clinic, shared her skin care tips. For home care, you need to use moisturizing and nourishing creams and serums.
