The media reported on a lengthy meeting between Trump and Netanyahu
The meeting between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which was dedicated to finding a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, lasted 90 minutes. This was reported on July 8 by the Axios portal, citing sources.
"The new meeting took place against the background of renewed optimism around the negotiations on a 60-day truce in Gaza," the portal said in a statement.
It is noted that the meeting of the two politicians was attended by the American Vice President J. D. Vance.
According to the portal, during the negotiations on Monday and Tuesday, the parties discussed relocation maps. As a result of the meeting, decisions were made on the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Earlier, on July 6, Trump said that a ceasefire deal in the Gaza Strip between Israel and the Palestinian Hamas movement could be signed in the coming days.
