The United States has never refused to support Ukraine and intends to continue to provide assistance to Kiev. This was announced to reporters on July 8 by the head of the State Department's press service, Tammy Bruce, during a briefing.
"We have been and remain the biggest supporters of Ukraine. We care about these people. We make sure that they have everything they need," she said.
Bruce also noted that the recent suspension of arms supplies to Ukraine was caused by routine inspections.
Earlier in the day, US President Donald Trump announced the transfer of defensive weapons to Ukraine. According to the American leader, it was he who approved these supplies to the Kiev regime.
