Girls strive to have smooth, clean, healthy and well-groomed skin. On how to achieve this effect, July 8, "Gazeta.Ru" was told by Louise Sakania, Candidate of Medical Sciences, dermatologist and cosmetologist at the Geltek Clinic of Aesthetic Medicine.

According to the doctor, it is possible to take proper care of the skin at home. To do this, you need to use moisturizing and nourishing creams and serums.

"Creams and serums based on hyaluronic acid come to the rescue, thanks to which the skin acquires a healthier appearance," Sakania noted.

Often, in pursuit of beauty, girls begin to "aggressively" cleanse their skin when washing. A dermatologist does not recommend using this method. According to her, it is better to use soft gels or foams with neutral acidity that do not contain sulfate. Peels can also help achieve the desired effect.

"In the evening, do a peeling 1-3 times a week: for sensitive skin, soft PH peels are ideal, and for normal and oily skin, retinol or retinaldehyde (start with low concentrations), which accelerate cell renewal, fight irregularities, pores and pigmentation," the specialist shared her recommendations.

For the beauty and health of the skin, it is necessary to take antioxidants, such as vitamins B3, C, E, or ferulic acid.

It is not uncommon for women to use SPF creams to protect themselves from the sun. According to the expert, if you apply the product every morning, it will help protect your skin from the sun every day at any time of the year, thereby helping to create an even skin tone.

Sakania advises not to neglect your health. It is worth following the daily routine and seeking help from a therapist, endocrinologist and gynecologist, who will help identify the deficiency of certain micro- and macronutrients.

Earlier, on July 6, Ksenia Varakina-Mitray, an Avon Russia product development and testing specialist, dispelled myths about the effects of gold and snail mucin in cosmetics. The expert noted that when choosing cosmetics, it is important to pay attention not to big names, but to the transparency of the composition and the evidence base.
