Tagansky court of Moscow fined Google and Twitch for more than 10 million rubles

The Tagansky District Court of Moscow has again fined Google and Twitch. This was announced on July 8 by the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of the city of Moscow.

It is noted that Twitch was fined 7 million rubles under Article 13.50 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation "Failure to perform duties by the owner of a social network."

Google was fined 3.8 million rubles under Article 13.41 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation "Violation of the procedure for restricting access to information, information resources, access to which is subject to restriction in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation on information, information technology and information protection, and (or) the procedure for deleting said information."

On June 25, it was reported that the amount of fines imposed in Russia on Twitch reached almost 70 million rubles. As emphasized in the department, since November 22, 2021, the owner of the platform is on the list of foreign persons in accordance with the "law on landing".
