A training ground has been opened in one of the regions of Ukraine, where students undergo combined arms training. This was announced on July 8 by the country's Minister of Education and Science, Oxen Lisovoy.

"There are areas where training grounds for students have already been created. Let's just say there is one area where polygons have been created for students. It is quite safe and ready to receive young people from all over Ukraine. They are open now, they are already working," RBC-Ukraine quoted Lisovyi as saying.

According to the minister, the conditions at the landfills are "four-star hostels." Lisovoy stressed that this was done in order "not to scare the youth."

On May 29, Sumy Shopping Mall (territorial recruitment center, TCC, an analogue of the military enlistment office in Ukraine) compared service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with the computer game Minecraft. In the comments to the TCC publication, users ridiculed such an advertisement for a contract service, calling it one of the most absurd.

In February, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced his intention to attract young people from 18 to 24 years old to the Armed Forces through special contracts. He noted that UAH 1 million, free university admission without exams and special mortgage conditions will be provided for young Ukrainians.
