- The Investigative Committee began checking on improper maintenance of a house in the Chelyabinsk region.
The Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the Chelyabinsk region has launched an investigation into the improper maintenance of an apartment building in the village of Novosineglazovo after media reports about the living conditions of residents. This was announced on Tuesday, July 8, by the press service of the ministry.
"During the monitoring of the media and social networks, a publication was revealed according to which the basement of house 2 on Oktyabrskaya Street in the village of Novosineglazovo, Chelyabinsk region, has been in a flooded state for the second year, which led to the formation of mold and the destruction of finishes in apartments," the UK wrote in the Telegram channel.
It is specified that the appeals of the residents of the house to various authorities did not bring results.
According to the Izvestia correspondent, there is regularly no light or water in the apartments, sewerage does not work and complete unsanitary conditions in the basements and entrances. Old electrical wiring runs through the damp walls of the basement.
After another complaint from residents about the shortcomings in the work of the management company, law enforcement agencies drew attention. After that, director Oksana Emelina was accused of fraud for 14 million rubles and removed from her post, but no one solved the problems of the apartment building.
"We called an ambulance every other day, we had constant gas poisoning. The children were vomiting, they had poisoning by gas fumes from the smell. We had to take them out of here, ask relatives to spend the night," said Anastasia Paskina, a former resident of the house.
In addition, residents complain about the disorder not only in the basements, but also in the courtyard of the house. In addition, huge cracks have already appeared on the foundation of the high-rise building.
"We never have janitors in winter. They'll still hang out with us in the summer, and in winter we clean up as much as we can," added Olga Vershinina, a resident of the house.
On July 3, it was reported that in the city of Pereslavl-Zalessky, Yaroslavl region, 26 people had to be evacuated due to the threat of the collapse of an apartment building. According to the governor of the region, Mikhail Evraev, the threat was established during excavation work at the facade of the house.
