Experts have predicted the price of the new Lada Azimut crossover

The new Lada Azimut crossover in the basic configuration can enter the market at a price of up to 2 million rubles, and the maximum equipped model can cost about 2.6 million rubles. This opinion was expressed by LikeAvto Managing Director Julian Gavrilov, the Autostat news agency reported on July 8.

"If we talk about Lada Azimut's price positioning, crossovers are traditionally more expensive than sedans on the same platform. This is due to the design features and the consistently high demand for SUVs. As a rule, the difference in price is about 15%. But the Lada crossover turned out to be quite technologically advanced, so I assume that it will be noticeably more expensive than the Vesta," Gavrilov believes.

Alexander Shaprinsky, commercial director of the Pragmatika dealership network, suggested that the price of the first crossover from Lada would range from 2.3 to 2.7 million rubles. Evgeny Zhitnukhin, commercial director of the Fresh automotive marketplace, believes that Azimut will cost from 2.5 to 3 million rubles. He recalled that, as stated at AvtoVAZ, the cost of the model will remain affordable compared to similar market offers.

Currently, the most expensive Lada model is the elongated Aura sedan — from 2.6 to 2.8 million rubles. The flagship raised Lada Vesta SW Cross station wagon costs from 1.88 million to 2.2 million rubles.

AvtoVAZ presented the Lada Azimut crossover on June 18 at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). The start of mass production of the new product is scheduled for 2026. The crossover will be equipped with upgraded engines of its own production with a volume of 1.6 and 1.8 liters with a capacity of 120 and 132 hp, respectively. One of the main and unusual features of the model was the electric heating of the front side windows.
