A motorcyclist was killed in an accident involving a car tower in the Tula region.

A 25-year-old motorcyclist was killed in an accident in the Kireyevsky district of the Tula region. This is reported by TSN24 with reference to the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

The accident occurred on Tuesday, July 8, at about 11:00 a.m. on the 9th km of the Bykovka – Bogoroditsk highway. According to preliminary data, the 53-year-old driver of the MAZ car lift hit a Kawasaki motorcycle when entering the packing area.

The impact sent the motorcycle flying into a nearby Lada. The young man, born in 2000, who was driving it, died on the spot.

The circumstances of the fatal accident are being established.

On July 7, it was reported that the Central District Court of Tula sentenced Dmitry Dubovenko, a member of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, who caused a fatal accident. He was sentenced to 4.5 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony.
