President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, during a working trip to the Mogilev region, demanded to get rid of the lying logs on the territory of the country by September 1. This was reported by the BelTA news agency on July 8.

"So that by September 1 there would not be a single log lying on the edge of the forest in the country," Lukashenko said.

According to him, if these areas are not cleared, the wood raw materials in demand will simply rot, and the abandoned forest is mismanagement.

On June 17, Lukashenko said that the problem of livestock deaths in Belarus must be urgently addressed before food shortages occur in the country. In his opinion, the country's agriculture has found itself in a difficult situation due to problems with discipline.
