President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Russian Leader Vladimir Putin on Tuesday, July 8, discussed by phone the expansion of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

Earlier, on June 27, the presidents of the Russian Federation and Uzbekistan held a bilateral meeting at the summit of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in Minsk.
