A resident of Krasnoyarsk received a chemical burn on a bus seat

In Krasnoyarsk, an 18-year-old boy suffered a deep chemical burn after sitting on a bus seat. This was announced on July 8 by a source of Izvestia.

It is specified that in the cabin of the bus traveling along route No. 117 (Vostochny Bus Station — Ermolaevsky zaton), an unidentified person spilled a caustic chemical substance on a seat of public transport.

"The man did not notice this, sat down on the seat and got burned," the source said.

According to the victim's mother, the young man was diagnosed with tissue necrosis. She said that her son was driving to a friend's house and initially did not pay attention to the seat in the transport.

"I sat down and after a while I felt that he was very hot, there was a strong burning sensation. I moved to another seat, at first I didn't understand what it was, and then I saw that the seat where he was was wet," the woman said in an interview with Izvestia.

The interviewee noted that the young man continued to drive standing up, did not address the driver. When I got to my friend, I took a shower, washed off the gel-like substance, and treated my skin with hydrogen peroxide. Then, when the son came home, the mother saw the burn, and they went to the hospital.

Currently, the young man's condition is satisfactory, there is a possibility that he may be discharged from the hospital before the end of the week.

At the moment, law enforcement officers are investigating the circumstances of the incident.

Earlier, on May 27, in Chelyabinsk, two passengers of bus No. 51 suffered burns due to a malfunction of the air conditioning system in the cabin. It was clarified that the driver of public transport did not take measures to help the injured girls, so they had to get to the medical facility on their own. Upon the incident, investigators opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet the safety of life or health of citizens").
