The fine for failure to inform the military enlistment office about moving to another place of residence in Russia has been increased to 20 thousand rubles. Lawyer Ivan Solovyov told on Tuesday, July 8, at what time a Russian citizen should inform about the move and how to do it.

He stressed that military registration during relocation is a mandatory procedure for citizens of the Russian Federation.

The following documents are required for military registration: an application, a passport, a certificate of registration of the applicant at the place of stay and a military registration document.

The lawyer added that there are two ways to inform about the move: to visit the military commissariat in person or to apply through the Gosuslugi portal.
