Sollers started production of Sollers SP7 minivans in Yelabuga
Sollers has started mass production of new Sollers SP7 minivans using full-cycle technology at the Yelabuga plant. Adil Shirinov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sollers, reported this to Mikhail Mishustin, Prime Minister of the country, at the Innoprom exhibition, the company said in a statement received by Izvestia on July 8.

The Sollers SP7 became the first locally produced minivan with a gasoline engine. The launch of sales of the model is scheduled for autumn 2025. Shirinov said that the SP7 production project involves not just a full cycle with welding, painting and assembly, but a phased deepening of localization, including a local powertrain and safety components, stamped body parts and electronics, interior and exterior elements.
"We aim to maximize the customization of the minivan to the needs of our customers and, in addition to the standard versions, to produce a wide range of cars with different interior configurations," Shirinov said.
The Sollers SP7 is equipped with a 237 hp engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission. At the first stage, two versions will be available to choose from — in a seven- or four-seat cabin layout.
The basic equipment includes six airbags, a multimedia system, a digital dashboard, separate climate control, a keyless entry system, wireless charging for smartphones, LED optics, electric sliding doors and luggage compartment lids. There is a set of electronic driver assistants: all-round view cameras, adaptive cruise control, a frontal collision warning system and driver fatigue monitoring.
The driver's and front passenger's seats, as well as the split second-row seats, are equipped with a wide range of electrical adjustments, heating, ventilation and massage function. The three-seater back sofa with anatomical profile transforms into a sleeping place.
The four-seat version of the SP7 features a more spacious interior with additional noise and vibration isolation, more premium finishes, dynamic lighting, a separate multimedia system with a full-size screen on the partition and the ability to control interior functions from a personal tablet.
The day before it was reported that the updated hybrid crossover Evolve i-Space will be available in Russia in August this year, the assembly of cars with welding and painting at the plant in the Lipetsk region will begin in the third quarter.
