The largest educational center of the South of the Russian Federation will be opened in Krasnodar

Krasnodar is preparing to open a modern giant school, which will become one of the largest educational centers in the south of Russia. The educational institution was built on Komandorskaya Street. They received an opinion on the compliance of the project documentation.

The school will open its doors on September 1, 2025. The building is equipped according to the latest requirements. In addition to the usual classrooms, there are high-tech 3D modeling laboratories, a robotics room, and a library center. There are several gyms: two for elementary school students with a physical therapy room, large, small and gyms for high school students.

The school has two assembly halls with 357 and 599 seats, and two canteens where about 1,000 children can have lunch at the same time. On the territory of the educational institution there are football, basketball and volleyball fields, running tracks, a playground, special areas for games and recreation.

KrasnodarMedia news agency notes that this school will be one of seven educational institutions that will open in the city in the new academic year. Five of them were built as part of the national project "Education". This allowed the creation of an additional 8.5 thousand training places.

Earlier it was reported that a Disneyland-like park will be built in Krasnodar in five years. An all-season recreation area will appear on the territory of the former Krasnodar porcelain factory "Chaika", at the intersection of Lisa Chaikina and Uralskaya streets.
