A schoolboy died in a sanatorium in the Leningrad region.
The sixth-grader died in one of the pulmonological sanatoriums of the Leningrad region. This was announced on July 8 by a source of Izvestia.
According to the source, the child suffered from asthma and had been treated for four years. It is specified that at some point it became difficult for him to breathe. The boy turned to the doctors on duty to receive medical attention.
The child was given inhalation, but he lost consciousness. Despite the resuscitation measures carried out by the doctor, the boy died.
A criminal case has been opened on this fact under Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence"). An inspection is underway.
Earlier, on April 21, a 12-year-old boy died during recess at a Krasnoyarsk school. It was clarified that the boy lost consciousness during a break between lessons. His death was reported by ambulance staff who arrived at the facility.
