The Kremlin negatively assessed the new US arms supplies to Ukraine

US President Donald Trump has changed his rhetoric towards Ukraine and announced new arms supplies to Kiev. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on the situation on July 8, noting that the West's actions do not contribute to a peaceful settlement of the conflict.

"It is obvious that supplies are continuing, it is obvious that the Europeans are actively pumping up weapons, and these actions are rather not in line with attempts to promote a peaceful settlement," Peskov said.

He also noted that it was too early to talk about the exact volumes of supplies, stressing that "it will take time to clarify definitively, while there is a lot of contradictory information."
