Russian rhythmic gymnast, Olympic medalist Dina Averina and Olympic figure skating champion Dmitry Solovyov got married. The couple posted footage from the celebration in Moscow on social media.
"Husband and wife," Averina captioned a photo of the newlyweds together on Instagram (owned by Meta, its activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
The ceremony took place in Moscow the day before, on July 7. The celebration took place in a hotel in the city.
The couple has been in a relationship since the fall of 2024.
Earlier, on August 17, 2024, Olympic figure skating champion Alexandra Trusova married Russian figure skater Makar Ignatov. The couple announced their engagement on June 17, when Ignatov proposed to Trusova in St. Petersburg.
