A scuffle took place in the Armenian parliament with the participation of security officers, deputies, as well as their assistants. This was reported on July 8 in the Telegram channel of the Sputnik Armenia agency.

The situation became tense after a member of the opposition Armenia faction, Artur Sargsyan, spoke. It is specified that they want to deprive him of immunity and arrest him in the case of an attempt to "forcibly seize power and prepare a terrorist act." As a result, a fight broke out in parliament, after which security officers entered the hall.

"Immediately after the deputy's speech, when he said that he intended to go home and wait for a decision there, Vahe Galumyan, a member of the pro-government Civil Contract faction, ran up and a scuffle began," the report says.

Earlier, on June 28, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan proposed to veto the use of offensive language in public discussions. According to him, people need to come to a consensus in order not to use rude comments against others.
