The leading regions of the Russian Federation not only provide high-quality medical services, but also actively implement innovative approaches. This was stated by the chief freelance cardiologist of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation for the Central, Ural, Siberian, Far Eastern Federal Districts, the DPR and the LPR, Director General of the Chazov National Research Medical Center of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences Sergey Boytsov on July 8 at the Izvestia press center in during the press conference on the topic: "World Cardiologist's Day – 2025: achievements and prospects of modern cardiology".

"Being a front—runner is not only about implementing best practices, but above all about providing decent care to patients. The Tula and Lipetsk regions have achieved special success in the Central Federal District, where telemedicine technologies and artificial intelligence systems are working effectively," said Boytsov.

The Ural Federal District, according to him, generally demonstrates a high level of development of the cardiology service. The specialist singled out the Tyumen and Chelyabinsk regions, as well as the Sverdlovsk Region as a strong competitor. The Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug has good indicators.

Among the regions of Siberia, the cardiologist particularly noted the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Kemerovo Region. In the Far East, despite the difficult geographical conditions, significant progress is being observed in Yakutia and Buryatia, where the problems of accessibility of medical care in remote areas are being successfully solved.
