The Russian government will support investors who plan to implement projects in the border areas of Bryansk, Belgorod and Kursk regions. This was announced on July 8 by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.

"Entrepreneurs planning to implement investment projects in the border territories of the Bryansk, Belgorod and Kursk regions will be able to enjoy the preferential treatment of the free economic zone (FEZ)," the publication says on the website.

The decree on the conditions and features of the preferential treatment was signed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin. The relevant measure will affect investors who will implement projects in the fields of manufacturing, agriculture, logistics, computer technology and software development.

It is specified that the volume of investments at the entry threshold will amount to 30 million rubles. For small and medium—sized enterprises, the volume is set at 3 million rubles, and for information technology projects - at 1 million rubles.

According to the publication, previously such a regime applied to actually operating and affected enterprises in the border areas of the regions, which made it possible to partially compensate for the damage sustained during the fighting.

On May 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to ensure the provision of support measures to citizens affected by federal emergencies in the Belgorod and Kursk regions. In particular, the head of state instructed to provide additional insurance guarantees to employees of state-owned enterprises involved in law enforcement to victims of the special operation, shelling of Ukrainian formations and terrorist acts.
