Meetings between US President Donald Trump's special envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, and Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov in Rome and Kiev may facilitate the resumption of military aid supplies. This was reported by the Politico newspaper on July 8, citing sources.

"The suspended deliveries of American military aid to Ukraine may resume after a series of high—level meetings in Italy and Ukraine in the coming week," the newspaper noted.

According to the newspaper, the United States has already informed Kiev about the resumption of supplies of engineering equipment and some armored vehicles.

Earlier, on July 7, Trump announced new arms supplies for Ukraine during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House. The American leader noted that the weapons will be supplied for the defense of Ukraine.
