Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for economic cooperation with foreign countries, noted that the share of currencies such as the dollar and the euro is becoming smaller in international reserves. He wrote about this on July 8 on the social network X.

"The euro and the dollar are decreasing in international reserves," Dmitriev said in a statement.

He also presented a graph showing that the dollar and the euro have gradually become inferior to other currencies, whose overall performance has also decreased over the past few years.

Earlier, on July 7, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov pointed to the situation with the US national debt getting out of control. In this regard, economist Chirkov predicted a weakening of the dollar.
