Russian paratroopers destroyed an APU pickup truck in Chasovoy Yar

A 120-mm mortar crew of Yaroslavl paratrooper gunners destroyed a pickup truck with personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the vicinity of Chasova Yar. This was announced on July 8 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It is specified that the reconnaissance of the paratroopers transmitted data on the movement of the enemy by car towards their forward positions. Subsequently, the pickup truck was tipped off.

"Intelligence reports two kilometers in advance, when they already see the movement of this pickup truck...> As soon as the pickup truck turns to the point that we have already targeted, we immediately start working," said the commander of the mortar platoon with the call sign Filin.

Subsequently, as the agency noted, with a cursory fire with an adjustment, the mortar delivered an accurate blow to the enemy's transport and destroyed a pickup truck with AFU personnel on the road. Objective monitoring footage obtained from a reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in real time confirmed the defeat of the target.
