In Khabarovsk, transport police officers together with the Federal Security Service (FSB) Department detained a 19-year-old girl suspected of setting fire to relay cabinets. This was announced on July 8 by the press service of the linear Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for transport in the region.
"For a monetary reward in the amount of 35 thousand rubles, the suspect arrived in the area of the railway tracks of the Krasnaya Rechka station in the Khabarovsk Territory, where there were two relay cabinets. The girl poured gasoline and foam through the ventilation hole of the cabinets and set them on fire," the department said.
It is noted that the suspect received an offer to damage the cabinets through a messenger from a stranger. She also recorded all her actions on her phone's camera and sent the video to the customer.
"Currently, investigators of the Khabarovsk Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia have opened a criminal case on transport under Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act")," the publication says.
Currently, the defendant has been given a preventive measure in the form of detention.
On June 20, two men were detained in Crimea for attempting to set fire to relay cabinets on the railway on the instructions of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of Ukraine. It is reported that a criminal case has been opened on the fact of the incident under the article on terrorism. The men face imprisonment for up to 20 years. At the moment, they have been arrested for two months.
