Russians Velikaya and Yegoryan are among the participants of the World Fencing Championships.

Russian athletes Sofya Velikaya and Yana Yegoryan, two-time Olympic fencing winners, are among the participants of the international tournament in Tbilisi. This was announced on June 8 by the press service of the International Fencing Federation (FIE).

In addition, Russians Dmitry Gusev, Pavel Buzinov, Egor Lomaga, Olympic champion in Tokyo Olga Nikitina, as well as Marta Martyanova, Milen Bavuge Habimana, Kristina Yasinskaya and others will perform at the competition.

Earlier, the FIE allowed fencers from Russia to participate in team competitions among juniors, subject to the neutral status of athletes.
