Kissing is an indicator of a relationship, a tool for increasing positive emotions, positive hormones that will improve the health of the immune system and the body as a whole. At the same time, a kiss can violate the boundaries of a child. Psychologist Yulia Vinokurova said this on Monday, July 7.

"For example, if a parent kisses a child on the lips or cheek without asking, hugs him, allows others to do it, then the boundaries of the child break. It's not about the fact of the kiss itself, but about the psychological message — as if the boundaries of the body are not so important. This can eventually lead to a feeling of humility: people can do things to me that I don't like," the expert explained in an interview with Radio 1.

According to the expert, in many families it is customary to show tenderness through a kiss, and there is only good in this.

"Children under the age of three do not identify themselves by gender. The child has no sexual context when the parent kisses him on the lips. But teenage children are already separating themselves, their personality, they understand who they are, and they are showing rebellion," said the psychologist, stressing that in this case it is not necessary to show such obvious attention with violation of boundaries.

On July 2, psychologist, author of psychological books and comics, communications expert Tatiana Vasilkova told how to teach a child to respect and build personal boundaries, RT reports.

On June 16, clinical psychologist Daria Salnikova told how hugs and kisses affect health.

The specialist noted that a kiss involves about 40 or more nerve endings, which have a positive effect on the nervous system. Physiologically, kissing contributes to the prevention of vascular diseases and strokes. The situation is similar with hugs, she added.

Earlier, on March 21, it was reported that, according to statistics, every fifth child at the age of one year is faced with caries of temporary teeth. By the age of three, this problem affects from half to three quarters of children, and by six— almost all of them.

According to experts, most often the bacteria that cause tooth decay are transmitted to the child from the mother due to violations of basic hygiene rules. It's about licking nipples, tasting food from a spoon, and kissing on the lips. 360.ru .

In turn, Sergey Lunyushin, a psychologist of the highest category, NLP psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, cognitive behavioral therapist, said that the common phrase "men don't cry," often used by parents and society, negatively affects the emotional development of men and can lead to psychological problems, writes RIAMO.

Anna Adaskina, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogical Psychology named after Professor Guruzhapov at the Faculty of Psychology of Education at MGPPU, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, told the Moscow City News Agency that children's toys help Russians cope with a lack of joy and happiness in adulthood.
