In Dagomys, in the Sochi city district, four sections of the A-147 Dzhubga–Sochi federal highway will be repaired by the end of 2025. This was announced by the FKU Updor "Chernomorye" on Monday, July 7.

The work will take place on the sections from 165th to 166th km, from 166th to 167th km, from 167th to 169th km and from 169th to 171st km. This is approximately from the Ira River to the Mamai interchange, according to KrasnodarMedia news agency.

The contract with the contractor has already been concluded. The road workers will update the top layer of the pavement and install new pavilions at public transport stops.

The repair of sections of the highway starts immediately after the end of the holiday season. It is planned to complete the work by the end of the year.

The length of the Dzhubga–Sochi highway is about 172 km. Work is currently underway almost throughout its entire length within the framework of existing maintenance contracts. They are carried out at night, the department notes.

At the end of last year, it was reported that the Russian government had approved a new plan for the construction of new federal toll roads by the state-owned Avtodor company until 2030. For the first time, sections of the Dzhubga—Sochi highway in the Krasnodar Territory were included in the program, and funds were also invested in bypassing Dagomys, which will be a continuation of the existing Sochi bypass, and bypassing Adler.
