In Cheboksary, a man knocked down a five-year-old child
In Cheboksary, a man hit a five-year-old girl with a car on Kommunalnaya Sloboda Street. This was announced on July 7 by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city.
"In Cheboksary, police officers are investigating the circumstances of a hit-and-run on Kommunalnaya Sloboda Street. A five—year-old girl was injured in the accident," the department's Telegram channel says.
According to preliminary data, the woman and her daughter ran across the roadway outside the pedestrian crossing. As a result, a car driven by a 39-year-old man hit a child.
At the moment, the girl is receiving medical care. Law enforcement officers are conducting a check on this fact.
On July 6, an underage girl died in Engels due to a hit-and-run on three pedestrians by a VAZ-2110 driver who was intoxicated. Upon the incident, investigators opened a criminal case in accordance with paragraph "a" of Part 4 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules that negligently caused the death of a person committed by a person in a state of intoxication").
