A 49-year-old man drowned in Vladivostok. His body was found in the area of a popular beach in the city, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Primorsky Krai.
"A 49-year-old man drowned in Ajax Bay on Russian Island. The deceased was pulled out of the water by municipal rescuers and handed over to police officers," the report says.
The tragedy occurred the day before, on July 6. The circumstances of the man's death are being established, writes IA PrimaMedia.
The news agency clarifies that on Saturday, July 5, two more men died while swimming in the reservoirs of Primorye. Incidents on water bodies were registered in the Khasansky district and Spassk-Dalny.
On July 2, a 52-year-old man drowned near the Tokarevsky lighthouse in Vladivostok. On the same day, the discovery of the bodies of three drowned young men in the Mikhailovsky district of Primorye was reported.
