Blinovskaya's brother told about the court's desire to take the apartment away from him because of the blogger

One of the apartments, which the financial manager of blogger Elena Blinovskaya asks to be recognized as an asset for paying debts, was bought long before the popularity of the creator of online marathons. Her brother, Alexander Ostanin, the owner of the property, told Izvestia about this on July 7.

"The property is the apartment where [my] children live. The second apartment, my wife and I got divorced, the second apartment is for me, but I haven't done any repairs there yet, I don't live there. The rest is storage rooms, parking spaces. <...> This apartment was bought back in 2016, and the DKP (purchase and sale agreement. — Ed.) was compiled, that is, even before Lena was born, she hadn't even run marathons yet," he explained.

Ostanin added that the financial manager is also asking for foreclosure on the apartment in Yaroslavl, where Blinovskaya and her parents lived in childhood.

According to him, the only "financial assistance" that his sister provided to him was 19 rubles.

"For all the time I was looking, she transferred me 19 rubles. I was running a financial marathon. And there [they said]: let them repay the debts owed. Lena, you owe me 19 rubles as a child. That's it, the only translation," said Ostanin.

The blogger's children, he said, are currently with her husband's parents in Yaroslavl, and they are fine. Blinovskaya herself, the brother added, "has already got used to" the new conditions.

She will be released in two years or even earlier.

Blinovskaya was sentenced on March 3 to five years in prison in a general regime colony. The marathon queen was also fined 1 million rubles and banned from engaging in certain activities for four years. In addition, 587 million rubles were recovered from Blinovskaya at the request of the prosecutor's office.
