A two-year-old girl fell out of a window on the fourth floor in Achinsk

In the city of Achinsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, a two-year-old girl fell out of an apartment window on the fourth floor. The child was hospitalized, according to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, with reference to the regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon, July 6, in one of the apartment buildings. According to preliminary data, the child was at home with his mother. When the woman went into the bedroom, the girl pulled a chair to the window, climbed onto the window sill and leaned on the mosquito net, which could not withstand the weight and fell out, dragging the baby with her.

As a result of the fall, a girl born in 2023 received various injuries. She is currently in the hospital.

The police noted that the family in which the accident occurred had not previously been registered. Juvenile affairs inspectors are investigating the circumstances of the incident.

On July 1, another child was reported falling from a window in Birobidzhan. A two-year-old boy fell out of an apartment window on the third floor of an apartment building. He remained alive, and was hospitalized with injuries.
