The project to create the Rossiya National Center in Moscow will be completed in 2029. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin. The center will be a continuation of the exhibition-forum "Russia" at VDNH.

The Mayor of Moscow, together with Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, inspected the exhibition, which is currently operating in Pavilion No. 7 of the Expocentre complex on Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment. Engineering surveys and preparatory work are already underway at the site to preserve part of the Expocentre buildings, Sobyanin noted.

"The new center will become a permanent platform for demonstrating the achievements of the country. The total area will be about 205 thousand square meters," the mayor of Moscow wrote on the Telegram channel. Exhibitions, a concert hall, a media center, a youth creative cluster, a congress center, business communication platforms and food courts will be located on the territory.

The President of the Russian Federation ordered the creation of the Rossiya National Center in Moscow in July 2024. The center will be created in order to preserve the legacy of the last exhibition and forum of the same name at VDNH in the capital, as well as to demonstrate the achievements of the country.

The exhibition "Russia", which was held in 2023-2024 at VDNH, was visited by more than 18.5 million people. 132 expositions were also prepared for visitors, including all 89 regions of Russia, executive authorities, major companies, state corporations and public organizations.
