Izvestia News Center and Asian News International sign cooperation agreement
The multimedia information center Izvestia and India's largest news agency Asian News International (ANI) have signed a strategic partnership agreement.
The document provides for the exchange of content, joint projects and the expansion of the information presence of the two media holdings in Russia and India. The signing of this agreement opens up new opportunities for covering key events in politics, economy and culture of the two countries.
"Cooperation with India's largest news agency is an important and responsible step for us in developing and strengthening international media relations. India is a key strategic partner of Russia, and this agreement will allow us to jointly cover the main events and initiatives of our countries, including within the framework of the BRICS. Thanks to a strong partnership, we will be able to share information more effectively and promote our projects internationally. I am confident that our cooperation will benefit the whole world and all journalism," said Vladimir Tyulin, General Director of Izvestia.
"We are pleased to join forces with the Izvestia Multimedia Information Center, one of the most renowned Russian media conglomerates. The exchange of news content will allow us to provide our audience with more extensive and diverse information about regional and global events. We are confident that this collaboration will contribute to balanced journalism, greater transparency, and strong people—to-people connections," said Ravi Khandelwal, Executive Producer of Asian News International (ANI).
The partnership is expected to contribute to the strengthening of friendly relations and the development of cooperation in the field of mass media. In particular, it provides for the exchange of media content, operational information materials on events in the domestic and international life of the countries. This will allow the parties to more effectively implement their tasks and expand their audience at the national and international levels. The exclusive content from Izvestia News Center will allow Indian colleagues to cover Russia's domestic and foreign policy in more detail, providing ANI readers with verified information from the original source.
Earlier, on March 20, a memorandum of cooperation was signed in Beirut between Izvestia and one of the leading TV channels in the Middle East, Al Mayadeen.
