Sobyanin announced the launch of six women's health centers
Six more women's health centers have been opened in Moscow, increasing their number to 11. The centers operate according to the new standard of outpatient obstetric and gynecological care, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin emphasized after visiting one of them, the Vorokhobov State Clinical Hospital No. 67.
"The old women's consultations are being replaced by well—equipped and comfortable women's health centers," Sobyanin wrote on his Telegram channel. He noted that the centers are fully integrated into the largest multidisciplinary clinics, which provide a full range of medical care.
A separate building was reconstructed for the center, which was opened in the Vorokhobov State Clinical Hospital No. 67. Four women's clinics in the Western District were transferred here. At the women's health center, patients can undergo diagnosis and treatment in the same building, Sobyanin stressed.
Women's health centers have also started operating in the Yeramishantsev State Clinical Hospital, O.M. Filatov State Clinical Hospital, the Kommunarka Moscow Multidisciplinary Clinical Center and two centers at the S.S. Yudin Hospital. It is planned to open five more such institutions by the end of the year.
"Taking care of women's health is a priority, so we will continue to expand this network," Sobyanin stressed.
In November 2024, Sobyanin opened Russia's largest women's health center on Perervinsky Boulevard, part of the GKB No. 15 named after him. Filatov. Then the mayor noted that the capital's women's health centers are maximally integrated into the clinics they are assigned to.
