The lawyer named the non-exchangeable and non-refundable auto parts

Numbered units such as engines for cars and motor vehicles, cylinder blocks, frames, bodies and cabs, gearboxes and axles are not subject to return and exchange according to the current legislation of the Russian Federation. This was announced on July 7 by Andrey Volodin, head of the legal department at Emex.

Certain types of auto parts are not subject to return or exchange if they meet the declared quality and do not contain manufacturing defects. The list of such products is regulated by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 2463 dated December 31, 2020.

The lawyer noted that these rules are always applied, except in cases of detection of manufacturing defects or malfunctions, which are confirmed by expertise. Thus, the buyer has the right to demand a replacement of the product or a refund.

"For example, the buyer has the right to declare defects in the product within the established warranty period or within a reasonable time if there is no guarantee. To do this, you must submit a written claim, accompanied by appropriate evidence of the purchase and a description of the nature of the malfunction," Rossiyskaya Gazeta quotes Volodin.
