A four-year-old child who fell into a coma after dental treatment at a clinic in Odintsovo, Moscow region, may remain disabled for life. His mother Victoria informed Izvestia about this on July 7.

"No quick resuscitation measures were taken. I can't blame the doctor, she did everything in her power. The child is hopeless and in a coma. He is unlikely to regain consciousness, but if he regains consciousness, he will remain disabled for life," Victoria said.

According to the woman, the treatment went well, but the recovery from anesthesia went wrong. The boy was sick, he choked, and the doctor, apparently, did not understand this.

"There were complications — swelling of the brain, severe pneumonia. The head doctor called the wrong ambulance, and the usual paramedics arrived. A hospital that is not equipped for an elevator, for some kind of intensive care," said the victim's mother.

The woman also noted that it was a private dental clinic, and they had not visited it before.
