Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, asked to open a case of moderate bodily harm against Albert Trishkin, judge of the 2nd Western District Military Court. The relevant information was published on July 7 on the official website of the Higher Qualification Board of Judges of the Russian Federation.
"Consideration of the submission of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation to consent to the initiation of criminal proceedings against the judge of the 2nd Western District Military Court Albert Viktorovich Trishkin on the grounds of a crime under paragraphs "d", "e", "h" of the second part of Article 112 of the Criminal Code," the statement said.
Details of the case are not given. It is indicated that the commission will consider the issue on Wednesday, July 16, at 9:30 Moscow time.
Earlier, on January 27, Elena Khakhaleva, a former judge of the Krasnodar Regional Court, was detained at Baku airport, and a case of fraud and forgery was opened in Russia. However, later, on March 10, an Azerbaijani court refused to extradite Khakhaleva to Russia.
