Footage from Russian President Vladimir Putin's speech at the BRICS summit in Rio de Janeiro appeared on the front pages of the Brazilian edition of O Globo. The video is published by Izvestia on July 7.

O Globo notes that the BRICS countries at the summit "went to great lengths to sort out" the tariffs of American leader Donald Trump, the Ukrainian conflict, and the fighting in the Middle East.

In addition, the issue of reform of the United Nations Security Council (UN) was raised at the summit.

On July 6, Putin, during a video conference at the plenary session of the XVII BRICS summit, stated that the countries of the association significantly outperform the G7 countries in economic terms. According to him, the BRICS countries account for not only a third of the earth's land area and almost half of the world's population, but also 40% of the global economy.
