One person was killed and six injured after shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Zaporizhia region.

As a result of the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the city of Vasilyevka, Zaporizhia region, one person was killed and six were injured. This was announced on Monday, July 7, by the governor of the region Evgeny Balitsky.

"The terrorist Kiev regime has targeted a residential area of Vasilyevka. A 19-year-old boy who was in the courtyard of the house was killed. Unfortunately, he suffered life—threatening injuries," Balitsky wrote on his Telegram channel.

It is specified that the victims were hospitalized in the city hospital, they are receiving medical care. In addition, the destruction was found in more than 10 apartments of the building. Operational services and employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Zaporizhia region are working on site.
