The FSB has revealed an attempt to massively persuade people to treason in the Novosibirsk region

Employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Novosibirsk region discovered the spread of information on social networks about a pseudo-patriotic project, participation in which could lead to criminal proceedings. This was reported on July 7 in the Telegram channel of the anti-terrorist commission of the region.

It is clarified that offers to participate in rewarded contests are being distributed in the messenger and on social networks. To receive prizes, residents need to send photos of bridges, ferry crossings, railway crossings, transport interchanges and industrial enterprises. The purpose of the organizers is to collect information about the infrastructure of the Novosibirsk region.

"For the commission of these actions, depending on the criminal qualification of the act, a penalty of up to life imprisonment is provided," the department warned.

The person involved in the attack on airfields turned out to be associated with the candidate for the post of Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine.

On July 2, a resident of the Nizhny Novgorod region was detained for passing limited information about an industrial enterprise in the regional center to an employee of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU). It is specified that the malefactor collected and transmitted photographic images of the infrastructure facilities of the defense enterprise, its coordinates and information about the air defense forces (air defense).
